The Legend
Joe Adams was nicknamed “747” because of his rocket of an arm! The iconic 747 jumbo jet, was the epitome of air travel of the 20th Century. This comparison truly exemplifies the strong correlation between the two powerful, smooth and generational mediums of air travel.

Ranks second at Tennessee State in Career Passing Yards (8,653).
Record as a starter was 25-7.
Threw for 30 touchdowns in 1980 and 75 in his career.
